We see folks using crushed concrete in a whole heap of ways for their residential and commercial projects. Some of the most popular uses around here include:
Now, if you’re a landscaper, contractor, builder, or a determined homeowner trying to figure out how much crushed concrete your project needs, here’s the basic idea. A cubic yard of crushed concrete – just like any gravel or aggregate – will typically cover an area of about 324 square feet if you lay it 1 inch deep. If you increase that depth to 2 inches, the same cubic yard will cover 162 square feet, and for a 4-inch base, it’s about 81 square feet. Most base projects, like for driveways or patios, will need at least 4 inches of depth, sometimes more, depending on the load it needs to bear. Just measure up your length, width, and how deep you need to go, and we can help you nail down the cubic yardage.
Here at our landscape supply store in Spring, TX, we offer quality crushed concrete for sale by the cubic yard or even by the half cubic yard if your project is on the smaller side. We cater to everyone – from individual homeowners tackling weekend projects to landscapers, contractors, and builders needing materials for larger jobs. And yes, we absolutely sell in bulk! Need it delivered? We’ve got you covered there too. We can deliver loads from 3 cubic yards all the way up to 25 cubic yards or even more if needed, serving projects all throughout the south and southeast Houston, Texas area.

This isn’t just leftover rubble; properly processed crushed concrete is a highly effective and often eco-friendly building material. It compacts exceptionally well, with the angular pieces locking together to create a very stable and durable base that really stands the test of time. This interlocking also helps with load distribution. Plus, it generally offers good drainage, which is a big plus here in our part of Texas with the kind of rain we can get. For many applications, it’s also a more budget-friendly choice compared to some virgin quarried aggregates, without sacrificing performance. Whether you’re laying a small path or a large commercial base, crushed concrete delivers solid value and function.
